Make a difference in the world, one person at a time. (and also find time for coffee and chocolates!)
I help individuals find joy in unexpected places and bring more alignment and fulfillment to their personal and professional lives.
Chipping Away at David (aka Authenticity)
Legend has it, when asked about his Statue of David masterpiece, Michelangelo said that he first studied the block of marble and then simply 'chipped away at everything that David was not'.
To me, authenticity is kind of like that - consciously honoring our neatly packaged values, day in and day out, works perfectly in theory! In practice however, as life actually happens and our values get buried beneath unfulfilled dreams, mountains of chores, tight deadlines, messy relationships, and stuff that just happens, untangling the mess of who we are is much easier by clarifying one 'who we are NOT' at a time.
As your coach, I pledge to study the marble of your life with you and help chip away everything that is not truly You!
Competing with Thy Self (Only!)
Personal growth is not just a goal for me but a way of life. There is no best version of myself, only better (more aligned!). While I am enough and exactly where I need to be today, my enough is constantly evolving and expanding, AND it is in no way better or worse than anybody else's. There is human inspiration and awe all around me, but the only true benchmark is me!
As your coach, I pledge to help you embrace your enough and all the wonderful, fuller, more aligned versions of yourself at the same time!
Embracing the Weirdo
I love people. I do not have a type. In fact, I do not believe there is a 'type'. Humans are uniquely weird and it is precisely that which makes us so utterly beautiful. While it may look like the world is one giant force towards fitting in, my message is this: embrace the weirdo! (and definitely take it to work)
As your coach, I pledge to help you fall in love with the beautiful giant. Period.
Practicing Courage
Maya Angelou said it best: 'Courage is the most important of the virtues, because without it, no other virtue can be practiced consistently.' It is easy to speak our truth when it is echoed by others, to be kind when kindness is reciprocated, expose vulnerability within the safety of our tribe, and lead with conviction when the road is perfectly clear. Only with courage can we do those things consistently, day in and day out, even when conditions are unfavorable.
As your coach, I pledge to help you exercise your courage muscle and become a full time 'better' version of You!
